Applications are now being accepted for grunion research volunteers at the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium (CMA).

Participants will join CMA as scientific assistants for handling grunion, setting up field equipment, monitoring procedures, and laboratory techniques in the Grunion Research Program. Volunteers must be able to handle heavy equipment, get wet in the ocean for shallow wading, and be willing to work nights, possibly as late as 1 a.m.  Those under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian to participate.

Cabrillo Marine Aquarium is located at 3720 Stephen White Drive in San Pedro and is a facility of the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks.
