Catalina Divers Supply (CDS) has begun operations under new ownership. Roger Urbach and Mike O’Neill became just the 3rd. owners of this 50-year-old business. CDS has been operating on the historic Green Pleasure Pier in Avalon Harbor since 1958. Both Roger Urbach and Mike O’Neill have been passionate divers for the past 30 years.
“Having the opportunity to be a part of this extraordinary business on this beautiful island is truly a dream come true” says Mike O’Neill.
“We look forward to establishing new relationships and strengthening existing ones, and to market this amazing underwater destination to the entire scuba and snorkeling community,” says Roger Urbach.
Along with the location on the pier, CDS operates an air fill compressor trailer at the Casino Point Underwater Park capable of filling 400+ tanks per day, plus full gear rental and retail sales available. They also run daily boat trips aboard their 46’ Newton dive boat Scuba Cat. CDS can also coordinate all group travel, hotel accommodation, restaurant and local island activity packages for customers.
