Joe Liburdi has come out of retirement to open Joe Liburdi’s Dive & Photo, a new retail and training center in Irvine. Joe, at 79 might possibly be the oldest man to ever open a new dive shop. Joe opened his first shop in 1972 and has gained experience, knowledge and reputation.
Joe and his partner Carl Felien have designed their shop to house only the highest quality and most reliable brands of scuba diving equipment, such as Atomic, Zeagle, Aeris, and Pinnacle. They have a well-stocked photo department and Joe will teach underwater imaging. Under the direction of PADI instructor Carl, they will teach scuba classes from openwater through divemaster.
The Grand Opening will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, December 4th, 5th and 6th, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will be refreshments, gifts, prizes and a film festival. Read more on their website: JLDiveandPhoto.com
