Author David Finnern has searched for shipwrecks and submerged ruins for over 35 years. As an award-winning writer, he has been published about his underwater endeavors in numerous diving, adventure and treasure hunting magazines. He is also the author of the book Passage Through Deep Waters. In addition he is past president of both The Adventurers’ Club and California Wreck Divers, Inc. Finnern was elected a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society in 2002.
