151 Dives in the Protected Waters of Washington State and British Columbia
The long-awaited, fully expanded and updated successor to the Pacific Northwest’s diving bible – 141 Dives in the Protected Waters of Washi

Sea of Light

Date  : September 18, 2009

Sea of Light is an exquisite coffee table book featuring the color underwater photographs of Richard H. Salas and highlighting the natural beauty of the California Channel Islands Marine Sanctuary, spanning the waters from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles. The book has been meticulously researched over the past five years, and includes a foreward by Earnest Brooks II, professor Emeritus of Brooks Institute of Photography, and a conservation essay by Peter Howorth, founder of the Santa Barbara Marine Mammal Center. Species identification has been provided by Shane and Genny Anderson, the highly regarded marine biologist team with over six decades of combined field experience. The book is also generously annotated with the anecdotal musings of the photographer himself, providing personal insights of our undersea neighbors.
